On the occasion of International Women’s Day, the municipal administration of Bagheria presents the group exhibition ‘Woman in Art’, an exhibition of works by talented Bagheria artists. The inauguration will be held on Saturday 8 March 2025, at 5.30 p.m., at Villa Butera. The mayor of Bagheria, Filippo Maria Tripoli, and the councillor for Education, Antonella Elisa Insinga, will be present.
The artists who will exhibit their works are: Anna Savona, Concetta Ducato, Francesca Ferrara, Giusi Culotta, Giusi Durante, Giusi Di Martino, Maria Rocchetta, Jole Spasari, Rosi Di Gregorio, Silvana Lanza, Rosa Sorce,
The exhibition can be visited on the opening days of Villa Butera, from 8 to 18 March 2025, from Monday to Friday: from 8.30 a.m. to 1.30 p.m. and on Wednesdays: from 3.30 p.m. to 6 p.m.
‘Donna in Arte’ celebrates female creativity and talent, offering a space for visibility and expression to female artists from the territory. The exhibition is an opportunity to reflect on the role of women in art and society, and to promote the culture of equality and respect.
The Municipal Administration invites all citizens to visit the exhibition and to participate in the inauguration, a moment of meeting and sharing in the name of art and the valorisation of women.
