The meeting organised by the municipal administration of Bagheria, held at Villa Butera and dedicated to tourism sector operators, ended with great participation. The meeting, which focused on the new tourist tax, was attended by numerous owners and managers of accommodation facilities in Bagheria and Aspra, who were eager to learn more about how this tax is applied.
During the meeting, which was attended not only by the mayor, but also by the councillor for Tourism Francesco Gurrado, the councillor for Budget Daniele Vella and the head of the tax service Giuseppe Maniscalco, the administration explained in detail the procedures for and payment of the tourist tax, answering numerous questions and curiosities of the operators. The ‘Stay Tour’ IT platform was presented, developed by the company Hyksos srl, which will greatly simplify the management of the tax for all accommodation facilities in the area. The service will cost € 3,196.40 per year.

Mayor Filippo Maria Tripoli emphasised the importance of allocating the proceeds of the tourist tax to actions aimed at promoting tourism and enhancing Bagheria’s cultural and environmental heritage, in agreement with the tour operators themselves.
The municipal administration will continue to offer support to the sector’s operators, organising further meetings and initiatives aimed at facilitating the application of the new regulations and promoting tourism in Bagheria.

On the municipal website and the tourism website of the Municipality of Bagheria www.bagheriaexperience.it there will be a link this StayTour – Bagheria tourist tax management to access the platform that will allow registered operators to manage all the compulsory fulfilments.
