‘Sette giorni di caduta’: presentation of Elena Bonaccorso’s book at Villa Butera

Wednesday 26 March 2025

On Wednesday 26 March 2025, at 5.30 p.m., the Sala Fumagalli Martorana of Villa Butera will host the presentation of the book “Sette giorni di caduta” (Seven Days of Fall) by Elena Bonaccorso.
The event will be attended by the mayor of Bagheria, Filippo Maria Tripoli, for institutional greetings.
The councillor for public education, Antonella Elisa Insinga, will speak.
In dialogue with the author will be Mirko Inserra, professor, and Maurizio Giliberto, professor and musician, will also speak.
‘Seven Days of Falling’ tells the stories of Oisín, an Irish jazz pianist, Malcolm, an Italian literature teacher from Oregon, Víctor, a Chilean actor who grew up in Italy as a political refugee, and Abbey, a PhD student in gender studies. The city of New York is the backdrop to their lives, which intertwine in a human fresco that explores universal themes such as identity, the search for self and the need for love.
The book offers a cross-section of three different generations, united by a desire to know each other deeply, to face fears and taboos, and to be loved for who they are.
The book presentation will be an opportunity to explore the themes of the novel and to meet the author.
