On the occasion of the procession of the Dead Christ and Our Lady of Sorrows to be held on Friday 18 April 2025, Order No 36 of 14 April 2025, signed by the commander of the Municipal Police, Colonel Dr Francesca Annaro, prohibits the circulation and parking, on both sides, with forced removal of all categories of vehicles, from 4 p.m. to 10 p.m., and in any case until the end of the procession, in the following streets: Piazza S. Sepolcro; corso Butera (from Piazza Sepolcro to Palazzo Butera); via L. Maggiore (from Corso Butera to via Sac. A.A. Sammarco); via Sac. A.A. Sammarco (from via L. Maggiore to via Luca Giordano); via Luca Giordano (from via Sammarco to via S. Scaduto); via Senatore Scaduto (from via Luca Giordano to via O, Tomaselli); via O. Tomaselli (from via Senatore Scaduto to via Angiò); via Angiò (from via O. Tomaselli to via Prigione); via Litterio (from via Prigione to via L. Sturzo); via L. Sturzo (from via Litterio to Corso Umberto); corso Umberto (from via L. Sturzo to Corso Butera); corso Butera (from Corso Umberto to Piazza Sepolcro). The procession will start from the assembly point in Piazza S. Sepolcro and will wind its way through the city streets, with the procession arriving at the Church of the Holy Sepulchre
