The press conference for the presentation of the Baaria Film Festival (BFF), the first Italian feature film festival entirely dedicated to ‘Insular Cinema’, will be held on Saturday 22 February at 11:00 am in the Fumagalli-Martorana room of villa Butera.
Speakers at the press conference will include: Andrea Di Quarto (BFF General Director), Alberto Anile (BFF Artistic Director), Filippo Maria Tripoli (Mayor of Bagheria), Daniele Vella (Deputy Mayor and Councillor for Culture of Bagheria)
The BFF, produced by the Kinema Association with the patronage of the Municipality of Bagheria, will take place from 2 to 6 July 2025 and aims to promote the cinematographic narration of the insular condition, with particular reference to Sicily, offering a platform for emerging and established film-makers. The press conference will be an opportunity to learn in detail about the festival’s programme, guests, juries and special initiatives.
