On Sunday, Oct. 20, at 6 p.m., Villa San Cataldo will open its doors to Nino Raia’s “C’Arte d’arte” exhibition, a cultural event of great importance for the area.
The exhibition, curated by Caterina Guttuso, president of the cultural association “Anthemion,” will be introduced by the institutional greetings of the mayor of Bagheria, Filippo Maria Tripoli, Councillor for Education Antonella Insinga and representatives of the Casteldaccia municipality including Mayor Giovanni Di Giacinto, who granted his patronage along with that of Bagheria.
Nino Raia’s works are a journey into the soul through art, unique collages made from heterogeneous materials, leading the viewer on an intense emotional journey. Through the unusual juxtaposition of papers, colors, concrete and other elements, the artist brings dreamlike worlds to life, where dreams and reality merge into a single, vibrant narrative. Each painting is a universe unto itself, rich in symbolism and suggestion, inviting contemplation and reflection.
The exhibition, open to the public until Nov. 03, 2024, will be open Tuesday through Sunday, 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. Villa San Cataldo, with its evocative atmosphere, will provide an ideal setting for this exhibition, which promises to be an unmissable event for contemporary art lovers.
Nino Raia, a leading figure in the Italian art scene, boasts a 30-year career characterized by a unique and unmistakable expressiveness. His works, exhibited in prestigious venues such as Cantieri Culturali della Zisa and Palazzo Jung in Palermo, are an example of how art can be a powerful tool to explore the depths of the human soul and offer a new perspective on reality.
