Inauguration of Photography Exhibition: ‘D10s. The Man Behind the Myth’

The Municipality of Bagheria is pleased to announce a unique event that will take place on Sunday 15 December at Villa Cutò. Entitled ‘D10s. The Man Behind the Myth’, this event is dedicated to football legend Diego Armando Maradona. The inauguration will be attended by Argentinean photographer and journalist José Luis Ledesma, who will share his experience and artistic vision of the Maradona myth through photographs that reflect the intimacy of the greatest player of all time. This event, which has the patronage of the Embassy of Argentina in Italy, will begin at 2.30 p.m. with a welcome coffee followed by the institutional greetings of Filippo Tripoli, Mayor of Bagheria, Antonella Insinga, Councillor for Sport, and Emanuele Tornatore, Councillor for Social Policies. The afternoon will also be an opportunity to find typical Argentinean products, see a football demonstration, play a game of chess, paint in the children’s area, listen to live music, and get involved with the Argentinean murga. Thanks to the tenacity of Mariela Rodriguez, one of the representatives of the Argentinean community, who has long been dedicated to the promotion of Argentinean culture in Italy, and finally thanks to the association Bocs Aps, which coordinated and supported the development of the exhibition. We invite everyone to participate in this celebration of culture and passion for football, in honour of a man who has left an indelible mark on the history of sport.
