The XXXIV edition of Aspra’s ‘Living Stations of the Cross’ will take place in Piazza Mons. Cipolla, on Saturday 12 April 2025, from 20:00. For the occasion, the seaside village will be transformed into the evocative setting of the touching living re-enactment of the Passion of Christ. The event, which has now become a tradition deeply felt by the community, is organised by the Passio Christi association with the collaboration of the Parrocchia Maria SS. Addolorata di Aspra and is one of the Easter events scheduled in the municipality of Bagheria. The “Living Way of the Cross” in Aspra is a moment of intense spirituality that involves numerous participants, including believers and inhabitants of the seaside village, who with passion and dedication interpret the various stations of Jesus’ sorrowful journey to the crucifixion. The performance offers participants and spectators a unique opportunity to reflect on the deep meaning of Easter and relive with emotion the last moments of Christ’s life. The Living Stations of the Cross will be attended by the mayor of Bagheria Filippo Maria Tripoli and the president of the municipal council, delegate of Borgo Marinaro di Aspra, Andrea Sciortino.
