“Domina Bacharia” the fifth mural of the exhibition opens
Monday, February 5 at 10:00 a.m.
It will be unveiled on Monday, Feb. 5, 2024, at 10 a.m., the mural created by artists Claudia Clemente and Filippo Calvaruso that towers on the wall of an apartment building on Mattarella Street.
The mural is the fifth work created as part of the “Out of Frame” project conceived and directed by architect Cettina Castelli and sponsored by the municipality of Bagheria.
The protagonist of the mural is a woman, “Domina Bacharia,” an imaginary Bagheria noblewoman holding a bouquet of orange blossoms.
Among the sponsors who collaborated in the realization of the work are Angelo Di Gregorio whose company is present on the international market with the famous Zagara Zuma perfume, the Ducato enterprise that provided the scaffolding, Giovanni Barcelletti’s Costruzioni e Pubbli Gioda that provides technical assistance to the artists, and again Ard Raccanello.
In addition to the artists, sponsors and the project manager, the inauguration of the mural will be attended by Bagheria Mayor Filippo Maria Tripoli and Communications Councillor Giusy Chiello, who oversaw the initiative.
