Bagheria Carnival 2025 ‘Colours of Cinema’ continues with a day dedicated to the little ones. On Monday 3 March, starting at 8.30 a.m., Corso Butera and Corso Umberto I will be transformed into an explosion of colour and joy with the ‘Carnevale dei Piccoli’ parade.
The undisputed protagonists will be the children of Bagheria’s preschools, who with their energy and imagination will invade the streets of the centre with carnival-themed costumes inspired by the world of cinema. An opportunity to admire the creativity of the youngest children and their teachers, who have worked together to create original and fun costumes.

‘We couldn’t help but think about organising a carnival specifically for the youngest children,’ says Mayor Filippo Maria Tripoli. ‘Seeing our children parading around in their colourful costumes is a real spectacle, filling our hearts with joy thanks to their smiles’.

Carnival in Bagheria has a long tradition, with roots in the past, just think of the ‘Nanni’ figures masterfully photographed by the late Paolo Di Salvo. But if traditions fade, the desire to celebrate, especially children, is not lost.
The ‘Carnevale dei Piccoli’ event is organised by the Municipality of Bagheria, the Pro Loco of Aspra with the support of the councillorships of Public Education, led by Antonella Insinga, and Entertainment led by Biagio Sciortino with the important collaboration of the city’s preschools.
