Bagheria protagonist at the Borsa del Turismo Extralberghiero
An informational meeting on October 22
The city of Villas and Taste is preparing to participate in the BTE. On Nov. 8, 9 and 10, the Extralberghiero Tourism Exchange (BTE) will stop in Palermo, and an exclusive visit to Bagheria will be dedicated on Nov. 11.
The EXPOBTE is a landmark event for the extra-hotel sector, bringing together operators, companies and buyers from all over the world. It represents a unique opportunity for Bagheria’s extra-hotel accommodation facilities, such as B&Bs, agritourisms, Room Rentals, Holiday Homes, Tourist Rental Apartments, Boutique Hotels to make themselves known internationally, forge new partnerships and increase the flow of tourists.
The Bagheria Municipal Administration, led by Mayor Filippo Maria Tripoli, has organized a special reception for buyers who will visit the city. There is also the possibility of setting up a collective booth in Palermo, in collaboration with interested operators and managers or those who wish to display their promotional material.
In order to encourage participation and provide all necessary information, Tourism Councillor Francesco Gurrado has called an informational meeting to which all managers and owners of Baghera’s extra-hotel accommodations, such as B&Bs, agritourisms, room rentals, vacation homes, tourist rental apartments, Boutique Hotels, travel agencies, restaurateurs and to all those pertaining to the tourism sector who want to make a contribution are invited.
The meeting will be held at the Fumagalli Martorana Hall of Villa Butera next Tuesday, Oct. 22, at 11 a.m.
Salvo Basile, coordinator in charge of Confesercenti Palermo, will be present to explain the BTE program and explain how to participate. Information will also be provided on the discounts dedicated to the owners of extra-hotel facilities and in particular on B2B meetings between tour operators and international buyers with the managers of extra-hotel accommodations.
An appointment that with national and international buyers that aims to define new business agreements, foster new opportunities for collaboration and professional development. An opportunity to promote the area by combining alternative hospitality with Sicily’s endemic factors of attraction such as the landscape, natural and cultural heritage, the excellence of artistic craftsmanship and the traditions of taste.
