From 17 to 24 December, the city of Bagheria is transformed into a magical Christmas world, with a rich calendar of events for young and old.
A programme full of surprises with art exhibitions featuring the works of local artists and literary meetings, creative workshops for children, and live music with concerts and shows for all tastes. Also on the programme is the ‘Villaggio del Gusto’ (Taste Village) with tastings of local delicacies and typical products, street shows, stilt-walkers, fire-eaters and Santa’s House.
Other events not to be missed include the inauguration of the collective exhibition ‘Itinerari tra sogno e realtà’ (Itineraries between dreams and reality) at Palazzo Cutò, the Christmas concert with Giuliana Di Liberto quartet and Giuseppe Milici (22 December, Mother Church), the ‘Tu si che vali’ musical show (21 December, Oratorio di Aspra) and the parade of the Tamburinai di Baaria and the Pietro Mascagni band association (22 December, Corso Umberto); on Thursday 19 December, ‘Babbi Natale in Moto’ (Father Christmas on a Motorcycle), a charity event for motorcyclists.
