The city of Bagheria announces its candidature as Innovation Capital 2025, a prestigious opportunity for the area to become a magnet for innovators, businesses and communities.
The candidature, proposed and supported by teacher Chiara Audia, was moved by the municipal administration, with the coordination of the Tourism Department led by Francesco Gurrado, and sees Bagheria among the 21 semi-finalists selected to host the ninth edition of Jazz’Inn 2025, the open innovation living lab organised by the Ampioraggio Foundation.
For a week Jazz’Inn transforms villages, inland areas and historical centres into laboratories of ideas, fostering the connection between innovators from all over Italy, businesses and local communities. The aim is to stimulate the creation of innovative and sustainable projects capable of generating positive impacts on the host territory.
In addition to the committee’s evaluation, the public will be able to express their support through an official poll, from 24 to 30 March, on the Ampioraggio Facebook group. The popular vote will have a weight of 10% on the final result, making the participation of every single citizen essential.
Jazz’Inn is an opportunity for growth and visibility will bring innovative ideas, media visibility and concrete development opportunities for the Bagheria area.
For a week, Bagheria could become a reference point for innovation, hosting hundreds of talents from all over Italy.
The project also represents an opportunity to valorise local excellence by offering a unique showcase for local projects, ideas and skills, supporting the area’s vocations.
