The presentation of the book “Sicily: the enchantment of ecstasy” will be held on Saturday 28 September at Villa Aragona Cutò. Epic in the kingdom of the gods” by Tregor Russo. The event, sponsored by the Municipality of Bagheria, will be a journey to discover the most authentic villages on the island, through the eyes of a multifaceted artist and passionate historical communicator.
A one-of-a-kind work. The book, Tregor Russo’s fourth publication, is a true hymn to the most hidden Sicily. Through careful historical research and rich photographic documentation, the author leads us on an exciting itinerary through villages, landscapes and age-old cultures. A work that not only tells the story, but brings it to life through anecdotes, legends and direct testimonies of the inhabitants.
A multifaceted author Tregor Russo, an all-round artist, is known for his passion for history and his ability to communicate in an engaging way. Musician, writer, photojournalist, director, he is a true cultural explorer who for years has dedicated himself to enhancing the historical and artistic heritage of Sicily.
The presentation of the book will be an opportunity to immerse yourself in the evocative atmosphere of Villa Aragona Cutò and to get to know the author and his work up close.
The mayor of Bagheria, Filippo Maria Tripoli, the councilor Antonella Insinga, the councilor for Culture Daniele Vella, will be present at the event, who will underline the importance of initiatives like this for the promotion of the territory and Sicilian culture. Also present was the delegated councilor for culture Antonello Gargano.
The event will be presented by Giusi Scafidi, vice president of the Castello Favara Maredolce association. The journalist Dora Di Cara will dialogue with the author.
