At Villa San Cataldo the “Nino Buttitta Photographic Exhibition”

The opening of Nino Buttitta‘s photo exhibition has been moved to Sunday, April 07 , 2024 at 5:00 p.m., set up at Villa San Cataldo and sponsored by the Municipality i Bagheria.
The inauguration will be attended for institutional greetings by the mayor of Bagheria Filippo Maria Tripoli, Onofrio Lisuzzo in charge of E.Q. Culture and Councilwoman Antonella Elisa Insinga, promoter of the initiative.
The protagonists of Nino Buttitta ‘s photos are the people who enter and leave his trattoria, but also ordinary people met by chance around Bagheria, friends, neighbors, as well as shots of moments experienced in his travels made solo with his horse and cart.
The exhibition will be open from April 07 to April 14 2024, Tuesday through Sunday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Nino Buttitta, class of ’78, from Bagheria, the son of restaurateurs, who grew up with his paternal grandparents, abandoned his canonical studies prematurely and preferred to educate himself by reading as much as he could of classic and modern authors and earn a living by moving abroad. He returned after two years, in 2015, to devote himself to the family business after his father passed away. The beginnings of his photography business date back to 2007, the same year he got married and became a father.
