At the Museo Dell’Acciuga in Aspra the presentation of the book: “Ainda”

It will be presented on Friday, January 12, 2024, at 6 p.m., the volume of poems by Calogero Timpanaro entitled: “Ainda” published by Maurizio Vetri Editore.
At the presentation of Timpanaro’s new collection of poems, which will be held at the Balistreri brothers’ Museum of the Anchovy in Aspra, institutional greetings will be given by Bagheria Mayor Filippo Maria Tripoli, Councillor for Communication and Entertainment Giusy Chiello and City Councilwoman Antonella Elisa Insinga.
Professor Tommaso Romano and teacher Francesca Liga are scheduled to speak.
Also enriching the presentation of the volume, which also contains illustrations by Ilaria Timpanaro, which are an integral part of the publication alternating with poetic compositions, will be musical interventions by guitarist Francesco Maria Martorana and singer Alba Cavallaro.
The event curated by Francesca Liga, enjoys the patronage of the municipality of Bagheria.
Calogero Timpanaro was born in Palermo in 1962. He has always lived and worked in Enna. He has dedicated himself to poetry since 1985. In 2012 he self-published, edited and reviewed by Gildo Galfo, a series of poems. In 2016 he published his first collection of poems, “Le Nuvole in testa,” illustrated by Ilaria Campo and published by Maurizio Vetri Editore.
Ilaria Timpanaro, born in Caltagirone in 1999, is a young artist who grew up in Grammichele (CT). She works as a freelancer creating works ranging from illustration to photography to screen printing.
