Angelo Daddelli & the Picciotti
The small folk orchestra was born in 2014 in Palermo from an idea by Angelo Daddelli. The staff is made up exclusively of acoustic instruments such as classical guitar, double bass, mandolin, mandola, friscalettu (the cane flute), tambourine, cianciane (cymbals) , accordion and marranzano (wind chimes). In the first years of activity the band performed daily on the street, among the alleys, squares and local markets of the historic center of Palermo. Shortly thereafter, a period of intense live activity began in the clubs and of social commitment alongside the various cultural associations operating in the city.
