Viola da gamba concert with Nereo Luigi Dani in Bagheria:
A musical journey from the Renaissance to Classicism

Bagheria is preparing to live a unique musical experience. On Monday 30 December, at 7.00 pm, at the Mother Church, with the patronage of the Municipality of Bagheria and the organization of the Bequadro association, an extraordinary concert dedicated to the viola da gamba, one of the most fascinating stringed instruments of the history of music.
The protagonist of the event will be maestro Nereo Luigi Dani, an internationally renowned musician and teacher, an esteemed scholar of the performance practice of the Renaissance, Baroque and classicism periods. Dani, virtuoso of the viola da gamba, will take us on a musical journey through the centuries, performing a repertoire that ranges from Diego Ortiz to Johann Sebastian Bach.
The concert program includes the performance of works by great composers, including:
