Bagheria continues to light up in the run-up to Christmas full of magic and initiatives. The initiatives continue, enveloping the city in a festive and welcoming atmosphere. A dense calendar of events, which is part of a journey that has already begun, offers citizens and visitors various opportunities for entertainment.
Below is the programme until 16 December. Music, the undisputed protagonist of Christmas, fills the streets and squares. On Thursday 12 December, the concert of the inter-parish choir at the Mother Church, directed by artistic director Pippo Balistreri, enchants the public with its melodies. Itinerant musical performances bring the joy of music to every corner of the city, creating a festive and engaging atmosphere.
The feast of Santa Lucia, with its traditional arancine (fried rice balls), and the enthralling Christmas Circus, with juggling and street theatre shows, provide moments of pure fun. From 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. there will be a travelling musical performance by the BAnda alle Ciance association along Corso Umberto I.
The sporting activities of the Sport in the Parks project, organised in collaboration with local associations, invite everyone to keep fit and share moments of healthy sport.
The municipal administration invites everyone to participate in this journey into the heart of Christmas, emphasising the importance of sharing moments of joy and strengthening the sense of community. And again on Sunday 15 December, from 10 a.m.
‘Natale in pista’ a sports event organised by Professor Tommaso Ticali at the IIS Giuseppe D’Alessandro and at 3.00 p.m. there will be the inauguration of the art exhibition on Maradona at Palazzo Vutò organised by Bocs.
Also on Sunday 16, there will be a theatrical performance ‘The Christmas Carol’ by Casa teatro/Otqa at the Monsignor Muratore theatre in Villa Butera. On Monday 16 December, a Christmas recital: ‘Note di Festa’ by Maria Nucatola will take place at 3pm, also at the theatre in Villa Butera.
