Calendar of Christmas events:
here is the proposed appointment from 02 to 09 December 2024
Also this week, the city of Bagheria gives us a full calendar of Christmas events, capable of involving adults and children. From 2 to 9 December, a wide range of events, including concerts, art exhibitions, theatrical performances and much more, will enliven the streets and squares of the city.
On Friday 6 December, starting from 3pm, Piazza Butera will dress up with a floral tribute dedicated to Maria SS. Immaculate. At 4.00 pm, again in Piazza Butera, the Aurora Study Center, together with the choir of the Falcone-Borsellino comprehensive institute, will delight those present with the lighting of the Christmas tree and Christmas carols. In the same afternoon, at 4.00 pm, at the IIS “Don L. Sturzo”, the event “A chair is forever, a uniform is forever” will be held with the delivery of certificates of merit to representatives of the Forces of Order and teachers, while at Palazzo Cutò the “Cenacolo Letterario” association will involve the public with an evocative recitation of Christmas poems. The day will end on a high note at 7.00 pm, at the Madonna del Carmelo Church, with a concert by the inter-parish choir, with the artistic direction of maestro Pippo Balistreri.
On Saturday 7 December, it will be the turn of the Christmas Circus, a traveling show of juggling and street theater that will liven up the streets of the hamlet of the seaside village of Aspra in Piazza Monsignor Cipolla.
Starting at 5.00 pm, Mario Barnaba will surprise us with his hilarious show “In suitcase…”, a journey into the world of comedy and juggling that will leave us speechless. With “In suitcase…”, Mario Barnabaci will transport you to a surreal and fun world, where everyday objects are transformed into juggling tools and the wildest comedy reigns supreme. A real show suitable for the whole family, a unique opportunity to spend an afternoon full of fun and amazement.
The week will end on Monday 9 December, at 5pm, with the inauguration of the art exhibition curated by Faro Convention and its president Rosa Anna Argento at Villa Butera, which we have already mentioned in a previous press release.
A rich program of events, therefore, which will fill Bagheria’s Christmas in the coming weeks.
“Christmas is a magical time to share moments of joy and growth together. I am sure that the many initiatives planned will give everyone unforgettable emotions.” – declares the Councilor for Public Education, Antonella Insinga – I thank all the associations, schools and subjects who, in various capacities, are collaborating”.
