Cesare Capitti (1951) architect, former Chief Service Manager of the Urban Planning Department of the Regional Department of the Territory and Environment of the Sicilian Region, currently works as an expert in the ICAR 21 Urban Planning Sector, at the Department of Building Design and Construction of the Faculty of Engineering of the University of Palermo. Former member of the Regional Urban Planning Council (CRU), of the Commission for the redevelopment of zones “A” and “B1” of the P.R.G. of the Municipality of Ragusa (Ragusa Ibla Building Commission). Expert in restoration and recovery of historic centres; participated as a representative of the Urban Planning Department in the special landscape commission established pursuant to art. 148 of the Code of Cultural and Environmental Heritage (Observatory, Landscape Plans). He has taught at the Faculty of Architecture and Engineering of the University of Palermo. Author of essays on architecture and urban planning.
